They're seeking an Accounts Administrator who's eager to build a career in accounts, grow with the business, and enjoy a varied and rewarding role.

Accounts Administrator Responsibilities:

 

  • Support with all general administration tasks, which include scanning, archiving, and filing documents, and updating Tikit & Microsoft Excel
  • Take card payments from customers
  • Accurately post bank credits and credit card payments
  • Handle banking tasks, which include taking payments to the bank and preparing cheques
  • Process end-of-day tasks such as batching payments, sorting credit and debit entries, and managing bills and disbursements
  • Add searches and other financial transactions to the ledgers

 

Accounts Administrator Skills and Experience:

 

  • Previous experience in accounts or administration would be beneficial
  • Possesses A Level or NVQ qualifications, and is keen to undertake their AAT
  • Knowledge of Tikit, Microsoft Excel, and online banking would be beneficial
  • Has a keen interest in accounts and is eager to forge a career within the finance and accounts sector
  • Wants to learn and is willing to undertake training
  • Demonstrates a keen eye for detail and understands the importance of working with accuracy
  • Highly organised, able to juggle a varied workload and enjoys working at a fast pace
  • A natural team player who enjoys working within a collaborative environment
  • Has an understanding of compliance and confidentiality and understands the importance of both
