This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work for a growing drainage and civils supplier based in the beautiful Sutton Coldfield countryside and make a real difference to the success of the company. Over the last five years, we have seen a 30% year on year revenue growth to become one of the UK's leading suppliers of drainage and civils products to the agricultural and construction sectors

 

Duties for the role of Administration Assistant:

To assist in the project administration, procurement, delivery and general function of Company Contractors

  • To achieve 100% customer satisfaction and capture all information and ensure it is distributed accordingly
  • Maintain effective and up-to-the-minute recorded communication between all stakeholders
  • Answer incoming calls for Contractors and Environmental businesses
  • Observe and minute meetings
  • Complete general account forms and input, distribute and present captured information
  • To start the bid writing process
  • Adding new leads to project management software system
  • Building New Job Folder in G Drive, adding templates to folder
  • Keep Site Visit Questionnaire Forms to hand in a tray
  • Obtaining prices for materials and plant hire from suppliers
  • Historic quote follow ups
  • Procurement and ordering materials
  • Become very familiar with our project management software, Procore
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls

 

Experience required for the Administration Assistant:

  • Minimum grade 5/C GCSE in Maths and English or equivelant
  • Positive  `Can Do`  attitude with a flexible outlook
  • Driving licence preferred due to rural office location
  • Great IT ability
  • Strategic planning skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • This role is fast paced and very dynamic so the ideal candidate muyst be ablr to cope and work under pressure

 

Working hours and Benefits package:

  • Working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with ½ hour for lunch
  • Gym membership up to specified value
  • 28 days holidays including bank holidays, Holidays increased by 1 day per year up to 5 days
