About the Client:

Our client is a nationwide catering supplies business located in Tamworth who provide and sell catering supplies to both private and public sector clients throughout the UK.


Duties for the role of Customer Support Administrator:

To project a professional approach to internal and external customers through administration and customer support.  Deliver exceptional service at all times.  Ensure all account administration is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

  • Deal with all customer issues/queries and service information promptly, efficiently and courteously
  • Account database maintenance, ensuring all information is accurate
  • Maintain effective communications and good working relationships with all internal and external teams
  • To process both manual and electronic orders accurately, ensuring any errors (Eprice/Eprod/Ecust) are amended in a timely fashion to ensure delivery schedules are not adversely affected
  • Perform all necessary maintenance tasks associated with website functions
  • Liaise with National Accounts team to ensure Roll Out orders of new products are processed efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with the National Account Call Centres in relation to order processing, product and stock enquiries


Experience required for the Customer Support Administrator:

  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and a methodical approach to work
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others
  • Presents information in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of internal and external customers
  • Monitors and manages own time to ensure daily objectives are met
  • Supportive of manager and wider team goals and objectives
  • Excellent IT skills and ability
  • Great verbal and written communication skills


Working hours and Benefits package:

Monday - Friday (no weekends) – Hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm -  with a ½ hour lunch break

Starting Salary - £20,857.20 increasing to £21,115.00 after probation
