About the Client:

 

An independent provider of solutions, innovation, market knowledge and intellect within the areas of telecoms and IT, and a key element of the business model is the day-to-day management and provision of fixed telephony, mobile devices, communications services, and carrier contracts.

 

Duties for the role:

 

You will be a member of the team that ensures that devices are despatched to users in a timely fashion, that the customer is informed at every stage of the process and appropriate stock sheets and asset data bases are updated accordingly. You will liaise with customers to ensure that devices are recovered from leavers and are checked on receipt and added back into stock. You may be required from time to time to provide technical advice re the operation of mobile devices to users. At all times you should project a professional company image through voice and online interactions.

 

Help Desk Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Respond to emails and other customer requests
  • Handle customer enquiries both over the phone and by email
  • Work closely with the configurations team to allocate tickets
  • Monitor work streams to ensure all requests are actioned in a timely manner
  • Fulfil customer orders for mobile devices, including pre-staging of devices
  • Liaise with customers to resolve customer handset issues
  • Update customer ticketing systems and asset databases
  • Monitor stock levels, carry out stock takes and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained
  • Liaise with customers to retrieve handsets from leavers
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints
  • Produce customer and internal reports
  • Update knowledge by studying product descriptions and participating in learning opportunities

 

Experience required:

 

Experience

  • Proficient in relevant computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of the telecoms industry would be beneficial
  • Great data entry and typing skills
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical processes

Working hours and Benefits package:

 

Working 8:30 - 5pm Monday to Friday
