An award-winning travel company is adding to its successful team and is searching for a well-rounded Travel Consultant to support its repeat customer-base and deliver an excellent service.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Understand what a customer is looking to experience, making recommendations and putting together travel plans that meet their needs and make their experience memorable
  • Book flights, accommodation, excursions, transfers, and travel arrangements for customers, ensuring all details are correct
  • Regularly liaise with customers to notify them of any changes and provide solutions, handle queries, and share guidance on country specific regulations and restrictions
  • Share all information relating to holidays, tours, and travel arrangement with customers
  • Attend events to gain knowledge of new products, locations, and excursions, sharing your learnings with the wider team and customers
  • Maximise sales opportunities at every touch point

 

Experience:

 

  • Previous experience gained within hospitality or travel within a similar role
  • Able to deliver top tier customer service and memorable experiences, and provide swift resolutions to complaints
  • Strong sales experience with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets and upselling
  • Excellent administration skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Superb communication skills, able to build rapport and influence
  • Experience using reservations systems would be beneficial
  • A love for travel and experience gained in other countries would be advantageous

 

Working hours and Benefits package:

 

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with half an hour lunch and Saturday 9am to 4pm with a day off in lieu midweek and one Saturday off per month
