This dynamic name in the finance sector is growing and looking to hire a determined Collections Manager to oversee the collections department.

Collections Manager Responsibilities:

 

  • Overseeing all aspects of the collections department, ensuring a top-tier service is consistently delivered across the board
  • Growing a team of Collections Executives and managing a team, conducting regular meetings to identify and set goals, assess and maximise performance
  • Acting as a mentor for each member of the collections department, working together to support their career development and progression
  • Identifying areas of improvement and implementing new processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensuring all collections activity adheres to compliance regulations and laws and liaising with legal professionals when complex cases arise
  • Curating and implementing collections strategies that minimise financial risk and increase debt recovery efforts
  • Managing the loan portfolio and monitoring difficult accounts to reduce risk to the business
  • Reporting to the senior management team, sharing insights on collections, preparing in-depth reports, and highlighting areas of concern

 

Collections Manager Skills and Experience:

 

  • An experienced Collections Manager who boasts and history of actively recovering debts and overseeing a vast loan portfolio
  • Demonstrates previous management experience and is skilled in leading high-performing teams
  • Possesses a good understanding of laws and regulations related to the finance industry and collections activity
  • Commercially and analytical minded individual who enjoys achieving targets and using data to drive decisions and strategies
  • Superb communicator, able to liaise confidently at all levels
