About the Client:

One of the UK’s largest privately owned independent funding house specialising in small ticket leasing specifically for business-critical equipment in the B2B market place.

 

Duties for the role of Credit Proposal Administrator:

  • Ensure that the company’s vision and values are upheld when dealing with staff/customers and third parties
  • Assist with all new proposals with the On-line system, emails and telephone calls from suppliers and customers
  • This will require a confident and excellent telephone manner,
  • Asking suppliers for details on the customers proposed and understand what questions are needed to ensure the correct details are gained in that initial
  • Enter proposals and conduct all searches so the deal is packaged ready to be underwritten
  • Accurate inputting of data on to Leaseman for the proposal to be firstly put through for auto decision in metric timescale
  • Carry out calls to gain additional information
  • Carry out all searches if referred, knowing the search engines required in order to pass to Underwriters
  • Experian – complete understanding of all personal and company searches
  • Land Registry for UK and Scotland
  • Charity registers for UK, Scotland and Ireland. individual or Company proposed
  • Credit safe to locate a business on Experian for both Non-ltd and Limited reports
  • Liaising with Credit Underwriters to conduct any additional searches
  • Communicating with Operations team when more information is required to propose the deal with deal notes to indicate why.

 

Experience required for the Credit Proposal Administrator:

  • Strong understanding of MS Office and In-House packages
  • A confident and concise telephone manner
  • Accuracy and attention to detail orientated
  • Used to working in a solo capacity within a team environment

 

Working hours and Benefits package:

37.5 hours a week, working Monday – Thursday 9am-5.30pm with 1 hr lunch and Friday 9am-5pm with 30 mins lunch.
