An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join an established and growing business.

My client is looking for someone on a temporary - permanent basis.

This Purchase Ledger role would suit someone with experience in a similar position who is looking to develop their skills within a professional and supportive environment.

Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you will support the day-to-day accounting function, maintain accurate financial records, liaise with clients and suppliers, and assist with month-end processes.

What’s in it for you?

• Work hours: 8:30am – 16:30pm Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 13:00pm Friday
• Salary: £14 to £15per hour

Purchase Ledger Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the day-to-day finance function
• Processing purchase invoices and matching invoices to POs and PODs
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Processing supplier payments
• Raising and processing invoices, including invoice chasing
• Liaising with clients and suppliers
• Chasing outstanding payments and maintaining accurate account records

Purchase Ledger Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger role
• Experience with Access/Dimensions is preferred but not essential
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage ledgers and prioritise daily tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
