We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to support Health & Safety compliance across a busy manufacturing site. Working with operational teams, contractors and suppliers, you will help maintain a safe working environment, ensure compliance with legislation, and promote a positive safety culture.

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch

Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:

• Support Health & Safety compliance across a busy manufacturing site
• Ensure Risk Assessments, SSOW and Health & Safety documentation are maintained and up to date
• Review contractor RAMS before work commences
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and machinery deliveries
• Carry out site inspections, audits and support accident investigations
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance with UK legislation

Health & Safety Officer Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
• Knowledge of Risk Assessments, SSOW and RAMS
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance
• Experience coordinating contractors and site activities
• CSCS card preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
