Customer Service Executive Responsibilities:

 

  • Take ownership of new claims from initial phone call through to successful set-up, ensuring all information is processed accurately and efficiently
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing guidance and reassurance throughout
  • Gather and verify all relevant claim information throughout the process
  • Keep customers informed throughout the claims processes, informing them of next steps and any additional requirements
  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service across all touchpoints, consistently meeting service standards and ensuring positive customer outcomes
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure claims are set up and progressed as they should

 

Customer Service Executive Skills and Experience:

 

  • Previous experience in a customer service or claims handling role is essential
  • Experience within insurance or claims handling would be advantageous but is not essential
  • A customer-first approach, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding services and creating positive customer experiences
  • Proactive, positive, and empathetic, able to remain calm when dealing with customers
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, professional guidance over the phone
  • Superb IT skills, comfortable using databases and CRM systems
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately capture and record information
