This family-run business is seeking a hands-on and adaptable Bookkeeper to step in, bring structure, and provide practical admin and accountancy support to a friendly Director.
Offered on a temporary basis, this is a flexible opportunity that needs someone who can be adaptable. We expect that you'll have a one to two week settling in period, full-time, followed then by working from home for 2 to 3 days a week - and there's the potential for this to evolve into something longer term if it suits both parties!

*TEMP* Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Input all credits and debits into Xero
- Raise invoices via Xero
- Communicate with creditors to arrange payments and bring accounts up to date
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Process bank accounts
- Process payroll and submit figures to HMRX
- Manage cashflow
- Act as the liaison between the business owner and external accountant
- Handle general administration, to include emails, filing, correspondence and ad-hoc tasks
*TEMP* Bookkeeper Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper, confident to step in and manage the finance function
- Experienced user of Xero
- Thrives in a roll your sleeves up environment and can work on own initiative
- Adaptable in your approach and willing to support across all areas of the business
- Organised, methodical, with a good eye for detail
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
