Junior Account Manager Responsibilities:

 

  • Build strong relationships with business customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored finance solutions
  • Consult with prospects and existing customers to establish requirements, assess affordability, and recommend the most suitable options
  • Collaborate closely with lenders and compliance to process finance applications
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, guiding customers through every step and answering questions along the way
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure a positive experience and long-term customer satisfaction
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and successfully convert leads into sales
  • Spot opportunities to grow and maximise value within existing customer accounts

 

Junior Account Manager Skills and Experience:

 

  • Proven sales experience gained in roles such as Account Manager, Sales Executive, or Telesales Executive, with a consultative approach to sales
  • Experience or knowledge within the finance sector would be highly advantageous, as would a solid understanding of FCA regulations and financial compliance
  • An excellent communicator who is confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and able to build trusted, long-terms relationships
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven, with the ability to work independently while consistently achieving KPIs and sales targets
  • Resilient and positive, enjoys working in a fast-paced sales environment and has a genuine drive to learn, develop, and progress
