They are now looking to welcome a dedicated Credit Controller to their team, initially on a temporary basis, with a clear expectation that the role will become permanent for the right candidate.

What’s in it for you?

• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
• Salary:  £13.40 per hour equivalent to £27,175.20 per annum

*TEMP* Credit Controller Responsibilities:

• Manage and chase outstanding customer invoices to ensure timely payment and minimise overdue accounts
• Call businesses to agree payment solutions that satisfy both parties
• Conduct accurate bank reconciliations and use your finance know-how to resolve discrepancies
• Handle inbound telephone calls regarding payment queries and account status
• Maintain up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions
• Process customer payments
• Utilise your strong numerical skills to support the accounts function

*TEMP* Credit Controller Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar credit control or collections role
• Confident and experienced in making outbound calls, demonstrates a professional and approachable telephone manner
• Excellent attention to detail, can spot inaccuracies and input information with accuracy
• Naturally numerical, has an understanding of figures
• Can work on own initiative and approaches tasks with a can-do mindset
• IT literate, can use Microsoft packages and an understanding of finance software would be an advantage
