A company specialising in freight forwarding and supply chain management is seeking a Key Account Coordinator to support the management and growth of one of their key clients. The Key Account Coordinator must have previous experience working in ocean freight / maritime logistics. Also, the Key Account Coordinator will have good attention to detail, strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.

Key Account Co-Ordinator Responsibilities:

• Strategic pricing planning to support global distribution
• Building and enhancing carrier and trade portfolios
• Support RFQs and pricing updates
• Assist with spot quoting & follow up
• Provide ongoing support with carrier business reviews
• Coordination with Operations teams on booking escalation and resolution
• Offer support with customer business review preparations
• Other administrative tasks as required

Key Account Co-Ordinator Skills and Experience:

• Previous Ocean freight experience is essential
• Must possess a recent working knowledge of ocean carrier landscape
• An understanding of ocean market and trades is a must in this busy role
• Strong communication, time management, and IT skills
• Excellent attention to detail and have a sense of urgency
• Understanding freight and Cargo shipping is advantageous
• A completed Dangerous Goods Training licence would be a great addition for this role
