A well-established business is looking for a HR Assistant to ensure the smooth running of processes across a wide range of industries, covering compliance, employee management and training events.

 

What’s in it for you?

 

  • Work hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: Up to £28,000, plus benefits

 

Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Acting as first point of contract for routine queries, escalating more complex matters as appropriate
  • Providing administrative support during employee relations meetings and taking notes
  • Project work to include engagement initiatives, policy updates and drafting Handbooks and contracts of employment and other compliance documents
  • Maintaining accurate client records in various systems in line with GDPR requirements & follow up of projects with timely actions
  • Assisting with client recruitment processes including drafting job adverts, coordinating interviews and issuing offer letters and contracts
  • Supporting with casework such as absence management, disciplinary and grievance investigations
  • Help to develop and implement annual appraisal and performance related pay schemes within client organisations and ongoing management of these reviews
  • Support with the development of appropriate training models and workshops  
  • Working alongside management to deliver training courses and workshops either on-site with clients, public workshops or online
  • Building strong relationships in partnership with clients, undertaking human resource development projects and activities that contribute to building a positive organisational environment

 

Human Resources Assistant Skills and Experience:

  • CIPD qualification Level 3 or working towards
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or Training team
  • Experienced in using HRIS systems is advantageous but not essential
  • Proven high-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of offering HR advice on issues of a complex and sensitive nature
  • Confidence to attend Client sites with HRBP as a representative of the Support team in order to support with HR Audits and completion of HR Action Plans
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, to facilitate their cooperation and support to achieve desired outcomes
  • Establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships
  • MUST possess a full, valid driving licence and have access to own transport for client visits
