• Work hours: Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5pm with an early finish Friday
• Salary: Circa £30,000 - £35,000

Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of cashflows and budgets
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Process/coding/checking supplier invoices
• Assisting in month-end procedures, eg calculating accruals and prepayments
• Credit control
• Monitor and action accounts department email

Assistant Accountant Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of two to three years of experience working in an accounts team
• Good theoretical knowledge gained from AAT/CIMA/ACCA studies
• A clear, confident communicator to engage with colleagues, customers and suppliers
• Preferably have experience of Sage software
• Happy to work 'in office' Monday to Friday
