Sales Administrator Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver hands-on, high-level administration support to the sales team
  • Work closely with the sales team to process sales orders and invoices
  • Maintain the database, ensuring all customer details are up-to-date and reflect sales activity
  • Communicate with customers when required to assist with queries
  • Entering data into Excel spreadsheets and ensuring they are kept up-to-date
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, offering your support where needed and acting as a liaison between sales and marketing

 

Sales Administrator Skills and Experience:

 

  • Strong administrative skills, backed by previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment is a plus, but not essential
  • Proactive, capable of hitting the ground running, with a solid background in providing top-tier support
  • Excellent communication skills are essential. Confident, professional, and able to liaise effectively with people at all levels, including customers
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, regulations, and product development would be a bonus, but it's not a deal-breaker if you don't have it
  • IT literate, with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
