Working with an existing set of loyal accounts, this Account Manager position is perfectly suited to a candidate who enjoys getting on the phone, building rapport, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

 

  • Proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, with the goal of maximising account profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and long-term loyalty
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, offer tailored solutions, and confidently close sales over the phone
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to all enquiries, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint
  • Consistently work toward individual and team sales targets, actively managing a robust pipeline to meet and exceed KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal teams, referring qualified leads to relevant departments to ensure the best outcome for the customer and the business
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM, logging all sales activity and ensuring customer data is current and complete

 

Account Manager Skills and Experience:

 

  • Previous sales or account management experience ideally gained in a B2B environment
  • Confident on the phone, articulate and able to build rapport with ease
  • Enjoys identifying opportunities and developing leads
  • Commercially aware, with a good understanding of business needs and how to solve them
  • Motivated and target driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed expectations
