Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Support a selection of accounts, frequently keeping in touch with customers to establish close-knit and trusting partnerships
- Communicate with customers to proactively identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell, and ensure customers are aware of promotions
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and samples to convert sales
- Assist an Area Sales Manager, ensuring customers are contacted and met regularly
- Process incoming sales orders and support customers throughout the entire sales process
- Handle queries regarding stock and products, and quickly resolve issues as and when they arise
- Maintain the database, ensuring all data is accurate and correctly reflects orders and contact
- Produce reports on all sales activity and KPIs
Sales Coordinator Skills and Experience:
- Experience gained in a similar sales role, either as Sales Administrator looking for the next step up or as an existing Sales Coordinator
- Customer focused, prioritises the customer experience, consistently delivers top-class service, and can identify customer needs
- Possesses a proven track record of upselling and cross-selling
- Has a good understanding of the sales process and is capable of working to targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage customers and build rapport
- Strong administration skills with the ability to work on CRM software and MS Office packages
- Demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude and enjoys a hands-on role
