 An incredible opportunity to join a leader in luxury as an Accounts Assistant, in a position that has a bias towards purchase ledger and reports into a dedicated and knowledgeable Finance Manager.

 

What’s in it for you?

  • Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holiday, rising to 28 days with length of service

Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide administrative and financial support to the company to ensure the purchase ledger function runs efficiently
  • Process and code supplier invoices on the CRM and liaise with managers to ensure invoices are processed
  • Make payments in accordance with company timescales and supplier payment terms
  • Handle incoming accounts queries from suppliers, aiming to resolve queries effectively and efficiently
  • Assist in the set up and approval of ad-hoc payments
  • Statement and bank reconciliation
  • Produce a number of reports and duties to assist with debtors and month end accounts
  • Prepare VAT reports for companies in the UK, Spain and Germany
  • Assist with sales ledger reconciliations when required

 

Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger Skills and Experience:

 

  • Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role, with good knowledge of purchase ledger
  • Demonstrate good organisational skills, able to meet strict deadlines and effectively prioritise
  • Shows initiative and is capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • Articulate with superb communication skills, able to liaise at all levels internally and externally
  • Good understanding of Excel and accounting software
  • Possesses commercial acumen and understands best business practice
