A field-based role based in the quality department of this international brand, this Field Quality Engineer role is imperative to maintaining and enhancing standards across the UK market and further afield.

 

What’s in it for you?

 

  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday:9am to 5:30pm, Friday 9am to 3pm
  • Salary guide: £35,500 - £38,000
  • Annual Lunch Allowance of £1,610 per annum (this is in addition to basic salary)

Field Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

 

  • Visit dealerships and suppliers to analyse vehicle parts and perform investigations
  • Identify existing and potential quality issues, looking at ways to make improvements and maintain quality
  • Assist with repairs in workshops and provide guidance on quality and standards
  • Analyse issues of parts, performing repairs where possible and sending parts to HQ for further analysis
  • Undertake regular quality inspections and audits before developing reports for HQ on a weekly basis
  • Monitor GSW for cases of interest, focussing on 3M/claims criteria
  • Identify and suggest claim cost saving options from claim and GSW data

 

Field Quality Engineer Skills and Experience:

 

  • Previous experience gained in a similar quality role, operating to at least technician level
  • Proven knowledge and experience in vehicle repair and high voltage systems
  • A solutions-focused, analytical problem solver who is confident identifying and resolving issues
  • Shows initiative, is able to work independently and is adaptable in your approach
  • Strong communication skills, able to build trusting relationships
  • Holds a driving licence
  • Computer literate, able to use MS Office
