Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Offering your ongoing support to the Operations Manager, assisting with all administration and logistics planning for client events
  • Attending project meetings to take minutes and better understand event requirements
  • Planning event logistics, collaborating with the warehouse team to coordinate deliveries and collections
  • Managing the resource calendar and rental database to successfully arrange resources and necessary hire equipment
  • Overseeing and maintaining the freelance database, arranging labour and resources
  • Arranging travel and hotel bookings
  • Ensuring all insurance policies are compliant
  • Covering the Hire Desk team when necessary, which includes handling enquiries, booking hire equipment, and providing in-depth quotations

 

Logistics Coordinator Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar logistics role with a good understanding of logistical and operational excellence is essential
  • Demonstrates strong administration skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to work with accuracy
  • Builds good relationships internally, and with clients, key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills, able to juggle multiple projects and meet to changing deadlines
  • Tenacious, resilient and able to influence and negotiate
  • Solutions-driven with strong negotiation skills
