Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Review results in comparison to budget, forecasts, prior year
• Highlight trends, provide commentary & analysis, investigate anomalies
• Discuss and explain financial results with various budget-holders
• Assist in the preparation of budgets

Management Accountant Skills and Experience:

• The company seek an individual with at least 2 years of similar work experience in an accounts department
• Able to produce and analyse the monthly financial information
• Demonstrate good understanding of the accounting principles (gained from studies in AAT/ACCA/CIMA or similar)
• Strong Excel experience would be helpful
• Self-confident in nature, you will be a team-player able to communicate clearly and credibly with both financial and non-financial colleagues
