A progressive position, this is a fantastic opportunity for a sales-orientated Administrator who is looking for an opportunity where they can progress into a sales role. Joining a robust sales team, you'll initially cover a period of maternity leave as a Sales Order Processor which will give you good grounding for your next step as an Internal Sales Coordinator.

 

What’s in it for you?

 

  • Work hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday with a 4pm finish on a Friday
  • Salary: £22,000 to £24,000, plus on target earnings of £0

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:

 

  • Providing top-tier sales administration support to the sales team
  • Processing customer orders, ensuring all order information is accurate and completed to deadlines
  • Setting up new customers to the CRM system and ensuring all existing data is maintained and up to date
  • Preparing invoices and sharing them with customers
  • Liaising with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person to effectively handle incoming queries
  • Providing receptionist services, which includes greeting visitors, providing refreshments, and taking care of post

 

As the role progresses, you will climb the ranks to Sales Coordinator and will be responsible for:

 

  • Creating in-depth customer quotations and processing orders within agreed timeframes
  • Closing sales and furthering business by following up on outstanding quotations
  • Using your product knowledge to effectively promote products, upsell, and cross-sell
  • Keeping abreast of stock levels and delivery dates, feeding back to customers
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager with sales activity

 

Sales Coordinator Skills and Experience:

 

  • Demonstrates excellent administration skills which have been gained in a sales environment
  • Detail-orientated and methodical who is able to work with accuracy and complete work to a high standard
  • Strong communicator who is confident liaising with customers and with internal departments, including sales, purchasing and production
  • Customer-focused, keen to deliver excellent customer service, goes above and beyond and has a professional, helpful attitude
  • Shows a real interest in sales and is keen to pursue a career within the field and learn
  • Naturally solutions-focused, is able to listen to customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions
  • Superb time management and organisation skills, able to effectively juggle a busy workload
  • Able to influence, negotiate, and identify opportunities
