Airfreight Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Working with customers to successfully arrange export freight from start to finish
• Taking a hands-on approach, supporting customers throughout the process and handling queries
• Submitting accurate customs declarations through Cargowise
• Dealing directly with carriers to schedule exports in line with customer timeframes
• Providing quotes and processing invoices

Airfreight Operations Coordinator Skills and Experience:

• Freight forwarding knowledge, with specific knowledge of airfreight export is essential
• An understanding of import and ocean freight would also be a distinct advantage
• Works within ISO compliance regulations and customs legislations
• Strong communication skills, able to build strong relationships internally and externally with carriers, customers and suppliers
• Proactive and works on own initiative
