One of the most successful independent finance businesses in the UK is seeking a Credit Controller to join a small team to collect primarily overdue lease hire contracts, but also hire purchase agreements and overdue unregulated loan agreements, both consumer and B2B.

• Salary: £22,500 plus a monthly bonus between £50 and £500 per month

Credit Controller Responsibilities:

• Telephoning customers who are in arrears with a view to making a one-call resolution
• Taking payments over the telephone
• Dealing with inbound calls regarding overdue accounts
• Handling general customer service queries regarding existing agreements
• Issuing copy invoices, statements, and any other paperwork as and where applicable

Credit Controller Skills and Experience:

• An excellent telephone manner is required     
• Must be a good team player, able to work under pressure
• Naturally articulate, confident, and polite
• Strong communication skills, able to build trust
• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Must be able to pass a credit check
